Rock n Roll Damnation isn't the typical AC/DC tribute band. They hail from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, with a few members being from Northwestern Iowa. For starters, the quintet doesn't try to re-create AC/DC's visual aesthetics, but the attention to detail is found within the sound.
The band began in the summer of of 2003 and has been packing area venues ever since. Almost ten years into the band and numerous gigs later, the band continues to bring it's high energy stage show to midwest venues.
In the early days of Rock n Roll Damnation, they began by focusing almost entirely on the Bon Scott era of AC/DC. The Bon Scott era was from 1974 through early 1980, and consists of 6 LP's and 1 EP.
With the addition of Tim Bakke on vocals in late 2007, their shows now consist of a heavier focus on the Brian Johnson era of AC/DC. During many performances, one can often hear a set that consists of the entire Back in Black album from start to finish. It is always a crowd pleaser as it is the 2nd best selling album of all time.
Keep your eyes and ears open, as they will be coming soon to a venue near you!
